Help us
Our Green Lung is also known as the Upper Roach Valley – designated in 2006 by Rochford District Council and supported by Natural England – is a Special Landscape Area (SLA) and Area of Ancient Landscape.
Our local community are fighting to save the Upper Roach Valley Green Belt on land south of Mount Bovers Lane – the most sensitive landscape in our District – from a proposed development of 350 homes which threatens the visual amenity and biodiversity of a cherished open space essential to residents’ well-being.
